Specialisation:
Aveline Marceau creates delicate yet haunting works at the intersection of photography, natural materials, and filmic overlays. Her practice often layers analogue images of human figures with botanical forms, producing dreamlike fusions of flesh and flora. Exploring the poetics of memory, decay, and ecological entanglement, Marceau’s works blur the line between portrait and landscape, suggesting a hybrid identity that is both human and more-than-human.

Featured in Foam Magazine’s Talent Issue (2021)

Memory as a living organism — evolving, fading, regenerating
Interplay of body, plant, and archive in a post-anthropocentric world
